At Tracy Bridal, we believe that your dress should reflect you and your personality. Finding the perfect dress for every bride has been our ultimate ambition since 1990, and the knowledge gathered over three decades of dressing brides in the west of Ireland lives on in these pages — guides, sizing wisdom and inspiration for every bride, bridesmaid and communion family.
Setting Standards
I've been in the bridal business for over thirty years. My journey in design and fashion, however, started from an early age — with my first bespoke commission at the age of fourteen! I continued designing and creating bespoke pieces for my clients throughout my twenties. It was during this time that I noticed a gap in the market that would allow me to expand my skills and knowledge into another area of design: debs dresses. That was my first foray into the world of special occasion wear, and it quickly grew to include bridesmaid dresses and wedding gowns. In those early years I meticulously designed and crafted every dress myself.
That foundation in tailoring shaped everything that followed. A dressmaker's eye never switches off: it notices the hand of a fabric, the integrity of a seam, the way a bodice is cut to flatter. It is the difference between a dress that photographs well on a hanger and a dress that moves beautifully on a real bride. You can read the full story on our About Us page.
An Award-Winning Tradition
- Bridalwear Supplier of the Year — 2017, 2018 & 2020
- Wedding Boutique of the Year — 2017, 2018 & 2020
Industry awards are voted on by brides and peers alike, and winning them across multiple years reflected one consistent idea: that the experience of finding a wedding dress should be personal, unhurried and joyful. We aim to share that same standard of care through everything published here.
We Help You Find the Perfect Dress
Each bride is unique, and your wedding dress should reflect this. A beautifully fitted dress that complements a bride's figure will ensure she glows on her wedding day. The right gown is rarely about chasing a trend — it is about understanding silhouette, fabric and proportion, and about feeling like the very best version of yourself. Our guide to bridal sizing explains why the number on the label means far less than the fit, and our sizing charts show you how to measure yourself accurately at home.
Exclusive Designer Collections
Over the years Tracy Bridal built an unrivalled collection of wedding dresses from some of Europe's most sought-after design houses. The collection was beautiful, diverse and unique, catering for every possible budget, style and type of ceremony — from intimate civil celebrations to grand cathedral weddings.
Exclusive Styles
A well-curated bridal collection spans the full spectrum: romantic lace, clean modern crepe, soft bohemian layers and dramatic full-skirted gowns. Explore the silhouettes and styles in depth on our Weddings page.
Latest Fashions
As a premium stockist for many collections, we received new-season designer stock before many other bridal shops — which meant brides in the west of Ireland were among the first to view and try the latest and most fashionable wedding gowns in the country.
Be Picture Perfect
We have always advised brides to begin looking for their wedding dress around twelve months before the wedding day, as made-to-order gowns can take up to twenty-four weeks to arrive — while allowing ample time for any alterations that may be required. Remember too that couples marrying in Ireland must give at least three months' notice to the registrar, as set out by Citizens Information — the dress timeline and the legal timeline run side by side.

Personalising Dresses
We often heard brides say: "If only I could have the skirt of this dress with the neckline and fabric from that one — it would be my dream dress." Personalisation makes exactly that possible. Many design houses allow a gown's neckline, sleeves, skirt or fabric to be adjusted to accomplish an exclusive look for your special day without the couture price tag. Minor changes often cost little or nothing; combining larger elements from different dresses typically adds a premium and a few extra weeks to delivery. It is one of the best-kept secrets in bridal — and one every bride should ask about.
